The Padel is a racket sport that combines the best elements of tennis, squash and badminton and has now become the fastest growing sport in the world where there are already over 10 million players in continuous constant rapid increase.
It is played, mainly and officially, in doubles and is practiced outdoors as much as inside, in its
specific Courts. (in an enclosed court, which is roughly 1/3rd, the size of a tennis court).
The surrounding walls are an integral part of the game, allowing players to play with exciting
moments. The scoring system is same as tennis.)
Il Padel è uno sport che combina l'azione con l'interazione divertente e sociale. Padel is a sport that combines action with fun and social interaction.
It is a great sport for players of all ages and abilities, as it is quick and easy to learn, in fact
most players get the basics within the first half hour of play so they can enjoy it
immediately.
The Padel is not dominated by strength but by technique and strategy of play, it is
therefore a ideal game for everyone, men, women and young people, but can also be approached easily
by Seniors and/or for who has a low/poor athletic training.
And it is also due to these technical characteristics that it is spreading a lot among the female public: in Spain, for example, almost half of the fans is composed of women.
We have seen, the Padel is a strongly growing sport in many countries but, in many others, it is not yet present or with very few facilities available !
Where it is present, it is becoming increasingly popular as a real trend with incredible growth
rates!
(In Italy the official data speak of a successful growth, in 2018, of 800% and is expected of 2000%
in the current three-year period 2019-2021 ! )
